新竹六燃全區遺存設施（含大煙囪廠房、異辛烷合成工廠與觸媒工廠區）整體城市發展原則與願景

摘要 Abstract
戰爭的殘酷會帶給整個世代的人無法磨滅的傷痛與恐懼；然而對於未曾經歷過戰爭的後代人們而言，那些悲壯的史實早已感受不到，甚至完全無知了。戰爭遺址是一個城市曾經經歷過大時代最具體的見證，是一個城市不可遺忘的「過去」延續存留至今的實體，更是這個城市在面對未來發展中必須珍視的關鍵依據。本文首先探討新竹六燃的二戰工業設施，在歷經近八十年的城市發展變遷後，全區遺存設施的狀況與盤點；其次，提出新竹六燃全區遺存設施對整體城市發展的論述與主要原則；最終以不同之全區整體規劃構想草案，提出二戰遺存設施對整體城市發展之願景。
The brutality of war brings the whole generation of people no other thing than indelible sorrow and fear. However, later generations who have never experienced a war either don’t understand or even know nothing about the tragic history. War heritage not only bears testimony to a city’s struggle in a turbulent epoch, but also constitutes the physical remains of the city’s unforgettable past and serves as a key reference for the city’s future development. This article firstly examines the status and conducts an inventory of the remaining industrial facilities of the former Imperial Japanese Navy’s Sixth Fuel Factory, Hsinchu Branch after nearly 80 years of urban development. Secondly, this article proposes the discourses and major principles as to how the heritage of the Sixth Fuel Factory can be integrated into urban development. Last but not least, this article designs some refreshing schemes to outline the vision for the Sixth Fuel Factory as a part of the WWII industrial heritage in the holistic urban planning.
